3 Mune Tablet

3 Mune Tablet is an antiretroviral drug containing Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide. It is used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection. HIV-1 is a human immunodeficiency virus that progressively weakens the immune system when it attacks and compromises immune function, making patients more susceptible to opportunistic infections.

Do not take this drug if you are allergic to 3 Mune Tablet or any of its ingredients. During the early stages of HIV-1 treatment, some patients with this condition may experience an inflammatory response to opportunistic infections. This condition is called immune reconstitution syndrome and can occur after starting this drug or other antiretroviral therapies. Monitoring for any signs of worsening infections or inflammatory symptoms is necessary.

Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart failure, pancreatitis, bone disease, fractures, or liver or kidney problems. Patients with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this medicine combination with caution. During treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications.

Adults of childbearing potential should consider using an effective contraceptive to prevent unwanted pregnancy. If you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant, your doctor might suggest an alternative treatment, as this combination regimen is not recommended during early pregnancy. Breastfeeding is not recommended due to the possible transmission of HIV-1 infection from mother to baby.

Inform your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal supplements, to ensure no potential drug interactions occur.

3 Mune Tablet combines integrase strand transfer inhibitors and nucleoside, nucleotide analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It increases the number of CD4 T cells and stimulates the immune system to fight against infections. Thereby, it reduces the viral load of HIV in the blood and decreases the severity of HIV infection.

Take the 3 Mune Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the tablets whole and intact. This tablet should be taken with food. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the medicine if your doctor advises you to stop.

Do not share needles or personal items such as razors or toothbrushes, as HIV-1 can spread through blood and body fluids. Always practise safe sex by using latex or polyurethane condoms to reduce the risk of HIV transmission. If you miss a dose of 3 Mune Tablet for a day, do not double the dose — take your regular dose the next day. Store 3 Mune Tablet in a dry place, away from moisture such as bathrooms or sinks, and keep the container tightly closed. Do not share this medicine with others, even if they have similar symptoms — it may cause harm.
