Abione 250mg Tablet contains abiraterone acetate. It is used in adult men to treat prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. It is usually given with steroid medication to reduce the likelihood of side effects. When Abione 250mg Tablet is prescribed for early-stage disease, it is used with testosterone-lowering treatment. This medicine is not for use in women or children. Effective contraception must be used throughout treatment. This medicine contains lactose and sodium; inform your doctor if you have lactose intolerance or follow a salt-restricted diet. Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart disorders, low blood potassium, diabetes, allergic conditions, or other diseases. The most common side effects are fluid in the feet or legs, high blood pressure, and diarrhoea. A decrease in red blood cells and reduced sex drive may also occur with Abione 250mg Tablet. This medicine should not be taken with Ra-223, which is used to treat prostate cancer.

Abione 250mg Tablet works by inhibiting the production of hormone testosterone in the body. This can slow the growth of prostate cancer.

Abione 250mg Tablet medicine should always be consumed as per the direction of your physician or pharmacist. The drug should be taken by mouth. It should not be taken with food. Swallow the tablets whole with water without breaking them. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and must not be eaten for at least 1 hour after taking the medicine. Women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not touch this medication without gloves.
