Product Introduction
Ablu 50mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Bicalutamide. It is used for treatment of advanced prostate cancer. It belongs to the category of non-steroidal anti-androgens. It is prescribed alongside a Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) analog or surgical castration. Ablu 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time each day. Dosage depends on the patient's condition. This medication should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose as it may cause serious side effects. This medicine must be taken consistently, even when the patient feels well. It forms part of androgen deprivation therapy, which combines radiation, surgical, and hormonal treatment in high-risk patients. Androgen deprivation therapy substantially reduces testosterone levels. Prostate cancer is sensitive to androgens; this treatment targets both the source and effects of androgen. Contact your physician immediately if you experience side effects such as blood in urine or severe allergic reactions during treatment.
