Product Introduction
Adalipca 40mg Injection is an antirheumatic agent belonging to the class of TNF (tumor necrosis factor) inhibitors. It contains Adalimumab as the active compound. It is used to treat symptoms of several autoimmune diseases, either as monotherapy or in combination with other medications.
Do not use Adalimumab if you are allergic to the active compound or any other ingredient of this medicine. Adalipca 40mg Injection is not advised if you have severe infections such as tuberculosis, sepsis, or other active infections. Do not use this medication if you have a compromised immune system. Avoid this medication if you have moderate or severe heart failure.
Inform your doctor if you have an active infection before beginning treatment. Before starting therapy, inform your doctor if you have any cardiac, hepatic, or renal conditions. Children aged six years or below should consult their doctor before using Adalipca 40mg Injection. Patients aged 65 years and above are more susceptible to infections whilst using this medication; close monitoring of developing side effects is important.
Current vaccination schedule should be maintained in children to reduce the risk of infections developing during therapy. Use of Adalipca 40mg Injection during pregnancy and breastfeeding will be determined by your doctor only if absolutely necessary, as it may increase infection risk in the child. Effective contraceptive methods are recommended during therapy and for 5 months after completion. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant to discuss appropriate contraceptive options.
Before starting therapy, inform your physician of all medicines, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are taking. Patients using Adalipca 40mg Injection should be closely monitored by their healthcare provider for any signs of side effects.
Uses

How it works
Adalipca 40mg Injection restricts TNF-alpha's ability to connect with its receptors, which in turn prevents TNF-alpha from mediating downstream signaling pathways. The inflammatory response, which includes immune cell activation, inflammatory cytokine generation, and recruitment of inflammatory cells to inflammatory areas, is largely regulated by these signaling pathways. By restricting the signaling pathway it decreases inflammation in various autoimmune diseases.
How to Use
Adalipca 40mg Injection is administered by injection under the skin (subcutaneously). The dosage and frequency of Adalipca 40mg Injection will depend on various factors, including the patient's age, weight, overall health, and the type and stage of disease being treated. It's important to follow the dosing instructions provided by a healthcare provider, and not to adjust the dosage or frequency without consulting with them first. This medicine is to be administered by injection under the skin (subcutaneously). Your doctor or other healthcare professional will train you on how to use this injection. Do not self-administer this injection until you get trained. If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as possible unless it's within 6 hours of the next scheduled dose. In that case, the missed dose should be skipped and the regular dosing schedule resumed. It's important not to take a double dose of Adalipca 40mg Injection to make up for a missed dose.

Expert Tips
If you have prescribed Adalipca 40mg Injection or any other medication, it is important to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider and to report any side effects or concerns promptly. Even if you feel better or see a change in your symptoms, you should still talk to your doctor before stopping Adalipca 40mg Injection. It is recommended to monitor your blood counts at regular intervals. Include anti-inflammatory foods in your diet, such as olive oil, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, and fatty fish. Include foods like avocados, almonds, seeds, and olive oil in your diet as sources of healthful fats. These fats can improve general health by lowering inflammation. To stay hydrated, sip lots of water throughout the day. Consult your physician before getting any vaccinations because certain of them can make you sick and should not be administered while you are on this medication. If you currently have or have ever had hepatitis B, let your doctor know as this medication may make the illness more likely to recur. One may receive instruction on administering medication at home. Before administering an injection to yourself, be sure you understand all the instructions. Every time you give yourself a shot, use a new part of your body. Make sure you rotate body parts by keeping track of where you administer each shot. Injecting into areas of skin that are hard, tender, bruised, or red is not advised. Remember to attend all scheduled appointments and follow-up visits with your healthcare provider to ensure your treatment is effective and any side effects are managed appropriately.
