Product Introduction
Adside 100mg Injection is an anticancer medication containing etoposide. It is classified as a cytostatic agent and is indicated for treatment of certain cancers including testicular cancer, small-cell lung cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia, lymphomas (Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma), and ovarian cancer in adults. Inform your doctor if you are currently undergoing or have recently received radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Report any infections or low blood protein (albumin) levels to your doctor. Adside 100mg Injection should not be administered if you have received recent vaccination with yellow fever vaccine or any live vaccines. Prior to commencing treatment, it is essential to inform your physician of any history or current presence of kidney disease or liver disorders. Both men and women must use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 6 months following the final dose. Men should avoid fathering a child during treatment and for up to 6 months after completion. Discuss fertility concerns with your doctor before starting therapy. Adside 100mg Injection may cause reduction in blood cell levels and increase the risk of infections. Your doctor may order regular blood tests to monitor kidney and liver function during treatment. Safety in children has not been established.
Uses
Testicular cancer Small-cell lung cancer Acute myeloid leukemia (blood cancer) Hodgkinâs lymphoma and non-Hodgkinâs lymphoma Ovarian cancer
How it works
Adside 100mg works by inhibiting the activity of topoisomerase II (essential for cell replication) and DNA synthesis, which will prevent cancer cells from growing and multiplying, ultimately leading to cell death.
How to Use
Adside 100mg injection is administered as an intravenous infusion into the vein. If this injection is recommended for you, it will be given by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administrate. Your physician will choose the dosage and administration frequency based on the medical condition because it differs for each person.

Expert Tips
Discuss your fertility problem with the doctor since, in men, it is advised not to father a child during and after the 6 months of treatment. So it is advised to get suggestions about fertility concerns. Avoid planning for the pregnancy. If you experience any symptoms mentioned as a side effect, consult your doctor immediately. Notify your doctor immediately if you have undergone or are taking or planning any radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Inform your doctor immediately if you took any vaccines inducing yellow fever and live vaccine and other medications before starting with Adside 100mg because it might reduce the effectiveness of this medicine and may cause side effects. Inform your doctor if you have or had any history of heart disease, kidney problems, or liver problems.
