Uses

Advanced renal cell carcinoma Advanced hepatocellular carcinoma Differentiated thyroid carcinoma

How it works

Adtrinib Tablet works by inhibiting multiple protein kinases involved in tumour cell proliferation and angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumours). Specifically, it targets receptors for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and Raf kinases, which play key roles in cancer development and progression. This stops the growth and spread of the tumor cells to other organs, as well the formation of blood vessels in the tumor cells.

How to Use

The medicine will be prescribed to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is not recommended to take this medication with meals that are high in fat since this may reduce Adtrinib Tablet's effectiveness. Take the pills at least one hour before or two hours after a high-fat meal if you plan to eat one. The dose will be decided by your healthcare professional based on your conditions. Avoid crushing, opening, or dissolving the tablet and swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take the Adtrinib Tablet tablet at the same time every day.

Expert Tips

Report any new or worsening symptoms to your healthcare provider immediately, especially if they relate to your lungs, eyes, skin, liver, kidneys, heart, or bleeding. When undergoing this therapy, stay out of direct sunlight and wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 before going outside. Adtrinib Tablet should not be stopped without first talking to your doctor. Even if you feel better or see a change in your symptoms, you should still talk to your doctor before stopping Adtrinib Tablet. It is recommended to inform your doctor about other anticancer drugs you have been taking.
