Product Introduction
Aktocyte 100mg Tablet contains Sodium copper chlorophyllin, a water-soluble chlorophyll extract derived from white mulberry tree leaves. It functions as a deodorizing agent by neutralizing odour-causing compounds and serves as an internal deodorant for patients with colostomy and ileostomy. A colostomy connects the colon to the abdominal wall, while an ileostomy connects the large portion of the small intestine to the abdominal wall. The tablet also helps neutralize body odours in patients with urinary and faecal incontinence. Approximately one in three women experiencing incontinence report concerns about odour-related issues. A significant population of elderly patients experience incontinence and associated body odour, and Aktocyte 100mg Tablet addresses this concern. The tablet is approved by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Sodium copper chlorophyllin, lactose, or any other ingredients in the formulation. Consult your doctor if you have a history of any disease. How it works
Aktocyte 100mg tablets help in reducing trimethylamine (TMA), which creates a rotten fish smell in the body and, in turn, reduces odor in individuals.
How to Use
Always use this medicine as exactly prescribed by your doctor or take each tablet in the morning and evening orally with a glass of water, at least one hour before meal. Depending on the condition being treated, your physician decides the dose, and frequency of this medicine. Do not chew, crush or dissolve the tablets.
Side Effects
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Aktocyte 100mg tablets are generally safe to consume and are not associated with significant side effects. However, consult your dietician if you experience any unfamiliar side effects.
