Product Introduction

Aldosmin 1000mg Tablet contains micronized purified flavonoid fragment from Ruscaceae as its active component. This medication is indicated for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and related conditions. CVI is a condition in which the veins in the legs, particularly the lower limbs, have difficulty returning blood to the heart efficiently. The tablet may alleviate symptoms associated with varicose veins, which are swollen and twisted veins often occurring in the legs. It can help reduce swelling and discomfort. Aldosmin 1000mg Tablet is sometimes used to manage haemorrhoids, which are swollen blood vessels in the rectum or anus that can cause pain, bleeding, and discomfort. It can be prescribed to reduce oedema, particularly in cases where oedema is related to venous insufficiency or other circulatory problems. While not a primary treatment for lymphoedema, it may be considered as part of a comprehensive approach to managing symptoms and improving circulation in cases where lymphoedema is secondary to venous insufficiency.

Patients with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to micronized purified flavonoid fraction Ruscaceae or any of its components should not use this medication. Aldosmin 1000mg Tablet is not a treatment for acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE). In patients with severe renal impairment, the clearance of medications from the body may be impaired, and use of this medication may need to be adjusted or avoided, as there may be concerns about drug accumulation. Aldosmin 1000mg Tablet is typically not indicated for use in children, and its safety and efficacy in paediatric populations may not be well-established. It is primarily used in adults.
