Product Introduction

Aldosmin 500mg Tablet contains micronized purified flavonoid fragment from Ruscaceae as its active component. It is indicated for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and related conditions. CVI is a condition in which veins in the legs, particularly the lower limbs, have reduced efficiency in returning blood to the heart. The tablet may help alleviate symptoms associated with varicose veins, which are swollen and twisted veins often occurring in the legs. It can assist in reducing swelling and discomfort. The medication is sometimes used to manage haemorrhoids, which are swollen blood vessels in the rectum or anus that can cause pain, bleeding, and discomfort. It may be prescribed to reduce oedema, particularly when oedema is related to venous insufficiency or other circulatory problems. While not a primary treatment for lymphedema, it may be considered as part of a comprehensive approach to managing symptoms and improving circulation in cases where lymphedema is secondary to venous insufficiency. Patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to micronized purified flavonoid fraction from Ruscaceae or any of its components should not use this medication. It is not a treatment for acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE). In patients with severe renal impairment, clearance of medications from the body may be reduced, and use of this medication may require adjustment or should be avoided, as drug accumulation may occur. Aldosmin 500mg Tablet is typically not indicated for use in children, and its safety and efficacy in paediatric populations are not well-established. It is primarily used in adults.
