Product Introduction
Alfusin 10mg tablet contains Alfuzosin HCL Prolonged-release as the active constituent. This medicine is indicated for treating Benign prostatic hyperplasia, a condition in which the prostate gland enlarges in men. The prostate gland is located beneath the urinary bladder; excess growth of the prostate gland compresses the urethra, leading to uncomfortable symptoms such as difficulty in urination. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Alfuzosin HCL Prolonged Release or any of its ingredients. Do not take this medicine if you have liver problems. It is advised that you inform your doctor if you are already taking medicines of the same class, such as alpha-blockers including Doxazosin, Indoramin, Prazosin, Terazosin, Tamsulosin, or Phenoxybenzamine to avoid serious complications. Also, if you are taking medication to treat high blood pressure, heart disorders, or fungal infections, report it to your doctor immediately. If you have kidney impairment, congenital heartbeat disorders, heart failure, or low blood pressure, consult your doctor before starting treatment with Alfusin 10mg tablet. If you are above 65 years of age and have been prescribed this tablet, exercise caution during regular activities, as this tablet may increase your sensitivity to developing low blood pressure. While using Alfusin 10mg tablet, you must notify your doctor about any planned surgical procedures to reduce the risk of low blood pressure. While on treatment with this tablet, consuming alcohol is highly unsafe. Avoid operating machines or driving, as this tablet may cause dizziness and unusual tiredness.
