Product Introduction
Alfusin T 5mg tablet is a combination medicine containing tamsulosin and tadalafil, which are an alpha-blocker and phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor, respectively. It is prescribed for lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia and for erectile dysfunction during sexual stimulation. Additionally, tamsulosin in this medication improves sexual function in men with ejaculatory dysfunction, making it a suitable choice for sexually active men. Erectile dysfunction (ED) results from insufficient blood flow, leading to inability to sustain an erection during sexual stimulation. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) occurs when the prostate gland enlarges, causing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) such as urinary obstruction, weak urination, and bladder discomfort. BPH also increases the risk of urinary retention. This combination medication is not intended for use in women. Do not take Alfusin T 5mg tablet if you are allergic to tamsulosin hydrochloride, tadalafil, or any of its components. It is also contraindicated if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used for angina or chest pain), had a heart attack within the past three months, or experienced a stroke or heart failure within the past six months. Inform your doctor about these conditions and provide a complete medical history and list of all current medications before starting this treatment.

How it works
The combination medication alfusin T 5mg tablet works by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder, making easier to urinate for men with an enlarged prostate (BPH). Additionally, tadalafil in this medication enhances blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and maintain erections (ED) during sexual stimulation.

Expert Tips
It is important to be mindful of potential side effects while using alfusin T 5mg. If you experience dizziness after taking the medication, it is advisable to sit or lie down to prevent falls due to low blood pressure. Priapism, a rare but serious side effect of this medication where an erection lasts for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse, can occur. If you experience prolonged and painful erections, immediate medical attention is necessary to prevent permanent erectile dysfunction. Regular screenings for prostate cancer are crucial, especially since it often coexists with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). If you're considering cataract surgery, inform your eye specialist about your medication. Exercise caution with grapefruit juice consumption, as it may affect the medication's effectiveness. If you have sugar intolerance, consult your doctor before taking this medication to ensure it is safe for you. Embracing a nutritious diet and incorporating regular physical activity not only boosts general well-being but can also lower the risk of erectile dysfunction and improve sexual performance.
