Product Introduction
Amigraf 0.5mg Capsule contains Tacrolimus as its active ingredient. It is an immunosuppressant used to prevent organ rejection, particularly after kidney and liver transplants. The formulation helps control the immune system, which is essential for transplant patients. Dosage is determined individually, with specific adjustments for kidney transplant patients based on blood levels. Like all medicines, it carries both benefits and risks. Patients with organ transplants should be aware of the uses and potential side effects, which include nausea, infections, and kidney-related issues. Alternative formulations are available, but any change in medication should be made only under medical guidance. Pricing varies by location and pharmacy, so checking availability is advisable before obtaining the medicine.
Uses

How it works
Amigraf 0.5mg Capsule provides immunosuppression by inhibiting T-lymphocyte activation and proliferation and T-helper-cell-dependent B-cell response. It works by attaching to a protein called FKBP-12 and forms a complex called tacrolimus-FKBP, which inhibits the action of calcineurin phosphatase. This, in turn, inhibits the formation of T cells and suppresses the immune response.
