Product Introduction
Amphotech 50mg injection contains amphotericin B and belongs to the class of phosphonic antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections, particularly uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women caused by susceptible bacteria. The medication is effective against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It is also used to prevent possible infections before prostate surgical procedures in adult men. Administering the medication before surgery can help reduce the risk of post-operative infections.
If you have a history of experiencing diarrhoea after taking antibiotics, you must inform your physician before initiating treatment.
