Anamit Tablet

Anamit tablet is an anticancer medication containing Anastrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. It is indicated for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors work by reducing oestrogen levels through inhibition of an enzyme in adipose tissue that converts other hormones to oestrogen. This medication is used to delay recurrence of early-stage breast cancer. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity reactions, and joint, stomach, and kidney pain. Patients with allergies to Anastrozole or its ingredients should inform their doctor before commencing treatment with this medication. Notify your doctor if menstruation is still occurring and menopause has not yet been reached, if osteoporosis is present, or if there are any liver or kidney complications. Patients with lactose intolerance should consult their doctor prior to taking this medicine. This medication must not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Anamit tablet reduces the amount of estrogen which is produced by the body. It does this by inhibiting aromatase, the enzyme that is naturally present in your body. This can stop or reduce the growth of different breast cancer cells, which depends on estrogen.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Avoid chewing, breaking, or crushing it. Take this tablet every day at the same time as prescribed by your doctor. You can take Anamit tablet with, without, or after food at any time.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms produced by medication. Even though all medications cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious Hypersensitive skin rash. Swelling of small blood vessels. It is advised to inform your doctor if you have a history of osteoporosis and liver or kidney diseases. Anamit tablet reduces levels of the estrogen hormone. You can have weaker bones that are more likely to break. To maintain bone health in women who have gone through menopause, you should control these risks.
