Product Introduction
Anashil 1mg Tablet contains Anastrozole, an aromatase inhibitor used in the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. The medication works by reducing estrogen levels, preventing the enzyme aromatase in adipose tissue from converting other hormones into estrogen. It is indicated to delay recurrence of early-stage breast cancer.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity reactions, and joint, stomach, and kidney pain.
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to Anastrozole or any of its ingredients prior to commencing treatment. Advise your doctor if you are still menstruating and have not yet reached menopause, have osteoporosis, or have liver or kidney problems. If you are lactose intolerant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
