Anastroget 1mg Tablet

Anastroget 1mg tablet is an anticancer medication containing Anastrozole. It belongs to the aromatase inhibitor drug class. It is indicated for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors work by reducing estrogen levels through inhibition of an enzyme in adipose tissue that converts other hormones to estrogen. This medication helps delay recurrence of early-stage breast cancer. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity, and joint, stomach, and kidney pain. Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to Anastrozole or any of its ingredients before commencing treatment. Inform your doctor if you are still menstruating and have not yet reached menopause, have osteoporosis, or have any liver or kidney disorders. If you have lactose intolerance, consult your doctor before taking this medication. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
