Product Introduction
Androgel 50mg Gel is a hormonal agent in the androgen category. It contains testosterone as its active ingredient. It is indicated for male hypogonadism in adult males with testosterone deficiency or absence, which can be confirmed through blood testosterone level monitoring and clinical symptoms including impotence, infertility, reduced libido, fatigue, depression, and bone loss. Patients with known allergy to testosterone or soy should notify their doctor before using this medicine. Men diagnosed with prostate cancer or breast cancer should exercise caution as this medicine is contraindicated in these conditions. Patients with cardiac disorders or hypertension should inform their doctor before commencing treatment. The medicine is not recommended for women, particularly those who are pregnant, as Androgel 50mg Gel may cause virilization (development of male characteristics) in female fetuses during pregnancy. Safety and efficacy have not been established in paediatric males or adult males with age-related hypogonadism. Inform your doctor if you have risk factors for venous thromboembolism, family history of blood clotting disorders, existing blood clots, active smoking status, obesity, or cancer history.
Uses

How it works
Androgel 50mg Gel binds to the cytoplasmic androgen receptor; these receptor hormone complexes get transported to the nucleus for binding with DNA. This process leads to the expression of specific genes responsible for the development and maintenance of male sexual characteristics and other androgenic effects.
