Product Introduction
Aprelieva 150mg injection is used to treat nausea and vomiting. It is commonly administered as an injection to control acute and delayed nausea and vomiting associated with cancer treatment, including high-dose cisplatin (highly emetogenic) and moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy. Oral contraceptives may lose efficacy during treatment with Aprelieva 150mg injection. Concomitant administration with warfarin significantly alters blood clotting time, so patients on chronic warfarin therapy require monitoring before initiating Aprelieva 150mg injection. It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to the drug. The dosage regimen includes oral dexamethasone in treatment.

How it works
It works by acting on the receptors responsible for nausea and vomiting, antagonising the substances involved in the same.
How to Use
It will be administered intravenously by health care professionals. The reconstituted or diluted solutions should be checked for the presence of precipitate or cloudiness.

This injection should be administered only by the doctor or nurse, and do not self-administer this injection. Inform the doctor if the patient has any history of allergic reactions, liver or kidney problems, and other medication taken for different medical conditions. Consult the doctor if the patient is planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding mother before taking this medication. Avoid driving and handling heavy machinery as it causes dizziness. Patients may feel a lack of concentration and alertness.
