Aritoz Tablet

Aritoz 1mg tablet is an anticancer medication containing Anastrozole. It is classified as an aromatase inhibitor and is indicated for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors work by reducing estrogen levels, preventing an enzyme present in adipose tissue from converting other hormones to estrogen. This medication helps to delay recurrence of early-stage breast cancer. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, inflammation of the joints (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity reactions, and pain in the joints, stomach, and kidneys. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Anastrozole or any of its ingredients prior to commencing treatment. Advise your doctor if you are still menstruating and have not yet reached menopause, if you have osteoporosis, or if you have any liver or kidney complications. If you have lactose intolerance, speak with your doctor before taking this medication. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Avoid chewing, breaking, or crushing it. Take this tablet every day at the same time as prescribed by your doctor. You can take Aritoz 1mg tablet with, without, or after food at any time.
