Product Introduction
Arium 25 mg Injection contains Atracurium Besylate, a medicine that belongs to the group of muscle relaxants. It is used to relax muscles during surgeries, other medical procedures, and in intensive care units (ICUs). During general anesthesia, it helps with tracheal intubation (placing a tube into the windpipe) and supports controlled ventilation.
Do not use Arium 25 mg Injection if you are allergic to Atracurium Besylate or any of the other ingredients in the medicine. Before receiving this injection, tell your doctor if you have a neuromuscular disease such as myasthenia gravis or Eaton-Lambert syndrome, a severe electrolyte disorder, carcinomatosis, or histamine sensitivity. Also inform your doctor if you have a history of allergies, asthma, bronchospasm, burns, or hypovolemia.
This medicine is generally not recommended for neonates (babies younger than one month). If it is needed for newborn or premature babies, a much lower dose may be required. If you have any questions or concerns about this medicine, consult your doctor.
Uses
To relax muscles during operation in adults and children over one month of age. Used during general anesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation. To relax the muscles in adults in intensive care.
How it works
Arium 25mg injection blocks the transmission of nerve signals to the muscles. When a nerve signal reaches a muscle, it releases a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which binds to receptors on the muscle cells, leading to muscle contraction. Atracurium works by competitively binding to these acetylcholine receptors, preventing acetylcholine from attaching and causing muscle contraction.
How to Use
Arium 25mg injection will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered in a vein (intravenous). Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Common Tachycardia (rapid heartbeat) Temporary hypotension (low blood pressure) Wheezing Bronchospasm (asthma-like symptoms) Skin flushing Urticaria (nettle rash)
