How it works
Augmentin DDS suspension combines two medicines (Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid). Amoxycillin (antibiotic) is a penicillin that helps treat bacterial infection by preventing the formation of the structural component of bacteria, which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that works by reducing the activity of enzymes and preventing the inactivation of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
How to Use
Shake the bottle well before taking Augmentin DDS suspension syrup. If this syrup is recommended for you, your physician will choose the dosage and administration frequency based on your medical condition because it differs for each person.
