Product Introduction
Auradex 4mg tablet contains dexamethasone as the active ingredient. It is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. The medicine is used to manage inflammation (swelling, heat, redness, and pain) associated with allergic diseases, skin disorders, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, blood disorders, nervous and renal diseases, eye conditions, and rheumatic disorders. It is also indicated in certain types of cancer. Auradex 4mg tablet is a synthetic glucocorticoid. Corticosteroids are hormones naturally produced by your adrenal glands that maintain health in your body.
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to dexamethasone or any other ingredient in this tablet, or if you have fungal infections. Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you have liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, respiratory disorders, diabetes, eye problems, seizures, infections, tuberculosis, or psychiatric illness.
Take this medicine with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset. The common side effects of Auradex 4mg tablet include increased blood pressure, decreased body growth, abnormal vision, cataract, eye discomfort, depression, and pulmonary tuberculosis. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Notify your doctor if you become pregnant while taking this treatment. The medicine may reduce your ability to fight infections. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of infection, such as fever, sore throat, or cough.

How it works
Auradex 4mg tablet is a synthetic adrenocortical steroid with potent anti-inflammatory effects in disorders of many organ systems. They inhibit multiple inflammatory proteins, decreasing swelling, redness, and pain. It also induces cell death of multiple cancer cells.
How to Use
Your doctor will decide the dose and frequency of the medicine. Take Auradex 4mg tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Take this tablet by mouth. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not break, chew, or crush the tablets. Take the tablet with food to avoid stomach upset.

If you are on long-term treatment with Auradex 4mg tablet, avoid getting vaccinations because this may interact with the medicine. Avoid exposure to chicken pox or measles. Avoid pregnancy during the treatment. Use effective birth control methods to avoid pregnancy during the treatment and for at least 1 month after your last dose. Do not breastfeed for at least 2 weeks after your last dose.
