Avanair 200mg Tablet

Avanair 200mg Tablets are phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors containing the active ingredient Avanafil. They are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men, which refers to the inability to maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.

Do not use this medicine if you have a known allergy to Avanafil or any component of this formulation. This medication is intended for adult men only; it is not indicated for use in children or women.

Priapism has been associated with use of Avanair 200mg Tablet. If you experience an erection lasting longer than four hours, seek immediate medical attention. Untreated priapism can result in penile tissue damage and permanent erectile dysfunction.

Before taking this tablet, inform your physician if you have serious bleeding disorders or are currently receiving treatment for an ulcer. This drug may increase the risk of bleeding disorder and peptic ulcer affecting the stomach or duodenum.

This medicine can cause a sudden decrease in blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disorders, low blood pressure, chest pain, or other cardiovascular conditions.

In rare cases, sudden vision or hearing loss has been reported with Avanair 200mg Tablet use. If you experience sudden changes in vision or hearing, discontinue the drug immediately and seek medical advice.

Consumption of grapefruit juice or alcohol while taking this tablet may increase the risk of side effects. It is advisable to limit or avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice during treatment with this medication.

Treatment of Erectile dysfunction

Avanair 200mg Tablet works by inhibiting the action of the enzyme PDE5, which is responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). By blocking PDE5, Avanafil helps to increase the levels of cGMP, which promotes relaxation of the smooth muscles in the penile region and improves blood flow, leading to an erection.

It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the duration and dose of the drug based on the disease condition and other factors. Always take an Avanair 200mg Tablet 30 minutes before sexual activity. Do not open, break, chew, or crush the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with water.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage frequency or take more than one dose within a day, as it can increase the chance of serious side effects.
