Avanext 200mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor containing avanafil, used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), the inability to maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.

Do not use this medicine if you have a known allergy to avanafil or any component of the tablet. This medication is for adult men only; it is not intended for children or women.

Priapism, a prolonged erection lasting longer than four hours, has been associated with this drug. Seek immediate medical attention if this occurs, as untreated priapism can cause permanent penile damage and erectile dysfunction.

Inform your physician before taking this tablet if you have serious bleeding disorders or are undergoing treatment for an ulcer. Avanext 200mg Tablet may increase the risk of bleeding disorders and peptic ulcer in the stomach or duodenum.

This medicine can cause sudden drops in blood pressure. Disclose any history of heart disorders, low blood pressure, chest pain, or other cardiovascular conditions to your doctor before use.

Sudden vision or hearing loss has been reported rarely with Avanext 200mg Tablet. Discontinue the medication immediately if you experience sudden changes in vision or hearing.

Grapefruit juice and alcohol may increase the risk of side effects when consumed with this tablet. Limit or avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice while taking this medication.

Treatment of Erectile dysfunction

Avanext 200mg Tablet works by inhibiting the action of the enzyme PDE5, which is responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). By blocking PDE5, Avanafil helps to increase the levels of cGMP, which promotes relaxation of the smooth muscles in the penile region and improves blood flow, leading to an erection.

It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the duration and dose of the drug based on the disease condition and other factors. Always take an Avanext 200mg Tablet 30 minutes before sexual activity. Do not open, break, chew, or crush the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with water.
