Product Introduction
Azom 1gm Injection contains Aztreonam, an antibiotic indicated for serious bacterial infections. This medicine belongs to the monobactam class and demonstrates efficacy against specific Gram-negative bacteria. Its chemical structure distinguishes it from commonly used antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins. Each Azom injection also contains L-arginine as an excipient.
Before commencing Azom 1gm Injection, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, blood disorders including pancytopenia, or a history of seizures. Also notify your doctor if you have previously tested positive on a Coombs test or if you have any skin disorders. Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy should consult their healthcare provider before using this medicine. If you experience prolonged or bloody diarrhoea during treatment, report it to your doctor immediately as your treatment regimen may require review.
