Product Introduction

Azumin Injection 500ml contains amino acids injection 10% w/v with electrolytes. This medication provides essential amino acids and electrolytes to patients who cannot eat or absorb food normally. It is indicated in various conditions, including malnutrition, short bowel syndrome (intestinal disorder causing malabsorption and diarrhoea), pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas with abdominal pain), cancer, kidney disease, liver disease, critical illness, burns, and pre- and post-surgical nutrition. Azumin Injection 500ml should be avoided in patients with known hypersensitivity to any components of the medication. This medication should be avoided in cases of metabolic acidosis, severe renal insufficiency without haemodialysis or haemofiltration treatment, advanced liver insufficiency, fluid overload, shock, hypoxia, and decompensated heart failure. It should be used with caution in patients with renal insufficiency, pulmonary disease, cardiac insufficiency, electrolyte imbalances, and metabolic disorders involving impaired nitrogen utilisation. Close monitoring of kidney and heart function is important in older adults and children receiving Azumin Injection 500ml.
