Osteoporosis develops commonly in postmenopausal women due to depletion of estrogen hormone. This medicine may reverse bone loss and reduce the risk of fractures.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Ibandronic acid or any other ingredient.
Inform your doctor if you have difficulty sitting or standing upright for at least one hour continuously, or if you have experienced low blood calcium levels previously.
Before starting Bandrone 150mg, tell your doctor if you have any mouth or teeth problems including gum disease, poor dental health, planned tooth extraction, or have not received routine dental care for an extended period. Report to your doctor if you smoke, as this may increase the risk of dental complications.
Notify your physician if you have a history of cancer or previous treatment with bisphosphonates (used to treat or prevent bone disorders), or if you are taking corticosteroids such as prednisolone or dexamethasone.
