Product Introduction

Bevaneal 100 Injection is an anticancer medicine containing the active ingredient bevacizumab. It works by preventing tumour growth by blocking the formation of new blood vessels that supply cancer cells. Bevaneal is indicated along with other chemotherapy medicines for cancer treatment in metastatic breast cancer, brain cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. It is also used to treat cancers of the ovary, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. The price of Bevaneal 100 mg may vary depending on the hospital, location, and supplier. The injection dosage is decided strictly by the oncologist based on the type of cancer, body weight, treatment protocol, and overall health condition. Patients should use effective birth control during treatment and for at least six months after the last dose, as the medicine may harm an unborn baby. This medicine should not be taken for 28 days before and after surgery, as it is linked to poor wound healing and increased bleeding risk. Patients should inform their doctor if they have any dental issues requiring surgery before starting treatment. Common side effects may include high blood pressure, tiredness, protein in urine, bleeding, delayed wound healing, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Patients who develop vision changes, severe headache, confusion, or unusual bleeding should report to their doctor immediately to prevent complications.

Uses

Bevaneal 100 Injection is indicated to treat the following conditions: Glioblastoma multiforme (brain cancer) Persistent, recurrent, or metastatic breast cancer Metastatic cervical cancer Advanced kidney cancer Metastatic colorectal cancer Advanced non-small-cell lung cancer Liver Cancer- Hepatocellular carcinoma Cancers of the ovary, cervical, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.

How it works

Bevaneal 100 Injection is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that works as a targeted therapy in the treatment of various advanced cancers. It produces its action by selectively binding to the protein called vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), which is present in the lining of blood and lymph vessels in the body. It interrupts the interaction of VEGF-A with its receptors. This further inhibits the formation of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the tumour. As a result, it slows down the rate of progression of cancer.
