Biopanib 200mg tablet contains pazopanib as the active substance. It is an antineoplastic agent belonging to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor class. It is used in adults to treat advanced kidney cancer or cancer that has spread to other organs. It is also indicated for the treatment of certain forms of soft-tissue sarcoma, a type of cancer affecting the supportive tissues of the body. This medicine functions by inhibiting the activity of proteins involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. Do not take Biopanib 200mg tablet if you are allergic to pazopanib or any other ingredient in this medicine. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney, heart, lung, or liver disease, bleeding disorders, stomach or bowel problems, or thyroid problems. This tablet can elevate your blood pressure. Regular blood pressure monitoring is necessary during treatment. No dose adjustment is required for patients with kidney disease. Your doctor will advise discontinuation of Biopanib 200mg tablet at least 7 days before any surgical or dental procedures, as it may impair wound healing. This medicine is not recommended for persons under 18 years of age. This medicine may cause infertility; consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The most common adverse effects are diarrhoea, hypertension, hair colour changes, nausea, and vomiting.

Do not break, crush, or chew the tablets. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not take this medicine with food, as it affects the absorption of this medicine. Take Biopanib 200mg tablet at least two hours after a meal or one hour before a meal.
