Treatment of multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma.
How it works
Borteshil 2mg injection works by exerting a toxic effect on cancer cells. It inhibits the 26S proteasome and blocks a major cell signaling pathway. This inhibition of the signaling pathway makes the cancer cells sensitive to chemotherapy. This medicine also enhances the build-up of a protein and minimizes cancer cell growth and multiplication.
How to Use
Borteshil 2mg injection is administered intravenously in your vein or subcutaneously under the skin. This injection should be given by a qualified healthcare professional experienced in the use of cytotoxic medications.

Therefore, you will have to take regular blood tests before and during your treatment with bortezomib to check your blood cell counts regularly. Pregnant women should not handle borteshil 2mg injection as it contains cytotoxic agents. Using gloves and protective clothing is recommended to prevent skin contact.
