Product Introduction

Bryxta 400mg Injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient Bevacizumab. It works by inhibiting the formation of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to tumours, thereby slowing their growth. This injection is prescribed in combination with other chemotherapy drugs for cancer treatment, including metastatic breast cancer, lung cancer, brain tumours, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, colorectal cancer, and cancers of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum. The dosage for lung cancer and other malignancies depends on the patient's condition and treatment response. The drug is administered under medical supervision through an intravenous infusion; your oncologist will guide you through the infusion procedure. Common side effects include constipation, fatigue, appetite loss, and skin irritation. This medicine is manufactured by Zydus and follows high safety and efficacy standards. The composition includes Bevacizumab 400mg. In some cases, doctors may suggest a suitable alternative. Patients should obtain this medication through certified pharmacies with a valid prescription.

How it works

Bryxta 400mg Injection is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that works as a targeted therapy in the treatment of various advanced cancers. It produces its action by selectively binding to the protein called vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), present in the lining of blood and lymph vessels in the body. It interrupts the interaction of VEGF-A with its receptors. This further inhibits the formation of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the tumor. As a result, it slows down the rate of progression of cancer.
