Product Introduction
Bulocel 0.5% Injection contains bupivacaine hydrochloride as its active ingredient. It is a local anesthetic used for numbing specific body areas during medical procedures. It is administered by injection near nerves to provide pain relief during surgical procedures, childbirth, or other medical interventions. This medication is an amide-type local anesthetic. It is employed for surgical procedures including orthopaedic surgeries, caesarean sections, and dental procedures. It may also be used to manage chronic conditions such as postoperative pain or certain chronic pain syndromes. This medication should not be administered if there is an active infection at the intended injection site. Bulocel 0.5% Injection should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to bupivacaine or any other amide-type local anesthetics. Allergic reactions can range from mild skin reactions to severe anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic response. Bulocel 0.5% Injection can affect the electrical conduction system of the heart. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to bupivacaine or any other amide-type local anesthetics, and in those with pre-existing heart block, a condition in which the electrical signals in the heart are blocked or delayed. Before treatment, inform your physician if you have heart problems, brain disorders, severe headaches, anaemia, infections, tumours, or recent trauma. Discuss with your healthcare professional if you are on a salt-controlled diet, as this medication contains sodium.

How it works
The therapeutic effect of Bulocel 0.5% Injection is primarily related to its function as a local anesthetic. When administered, it blocks the transmission of nerve signals in the area where it is applied, resulting in a temporary loss of sensation and pain relief. This effect allows various medical procedures to be performed with reduced or eliminated pain.
How to Use
A healthcare provider typically give Bulocel 0.5% Injection via injection. A healthcare provider will determine the recommended dosage based on age, weight, and specific purpose.

Expert Tips
Regarding your health and medication usage, it is important to prioritize open communication with your healthcare provider. Make sure to provide them with a comprehensive overview of your medical history, including any existing conditions, medications you are currently taking, or any allergies you may have. Elderly individuals may be more sensitive to the effects of Bulocel 0.5% Injection. Age-related changes in metabolism reduce cardiac reserve, and other factors can increase the risk of adverse reactions. Close monitoring and appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary. This medication may interact with other medications, including certain antiarrhythmics, calcium channel blockers, and beta-blockers. These interactions can potentiate cardiac effects, increasing the risk of arrhythmias or other cardiac complications. Specific pediatric dosing guidelines should be followed, and caution should be exercised to avoid overdosing or accidental intravascular injection. Do not hesitate to contact your healthcare provider for guidance if you experience any unexpected or concerning symptoms after receiving it or other medications.
