Product Introduction

Caditraz 2.5mg is an anti-cancer medication that belongs to the aromatase inhibitor class. It is indicated as adjuvant therapy following primary treatment or as first-line therapy for postmenopausal women with early and advanced breast cancer whose tumours are hormone receptor-positive. Since elevated oestrogen levels are associated with breast cancer development, this medicine reduces female reproductive hormone levels by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme responsible for oestrogen production. This medicine aims to slow or stop tumour growth and/or spread to other body sites. Inform your doctor if you have not yet attained menopause, as this medicine is not effective for premenopausal women. Since this medicine lowers female reproductive hormone levels, it is not recommended for menstruating women due to associated fertility concerns. It is advised to monitor your cholesterol levels, as this medicine may elevate cholesterol. This medicine may also decrease bone mineral density. Therefore, discuss with your doctor and consider regular monitoring of bone parameters. Effective contraception is advised during treatment and for at least 3 weeks after the final dose because Caditraz 2.5mg can cause when administrated.
