Product Introduction

Calyst Z Tablet contains calcitriol, calcium carbonate, and zinc. This medication prevents and treats calcium deficiency, which can lead to weak bones and teeth. It is also used to treat certain bone conditions, such as osteoporosis. It helps manage secondary hyperparathyroidism (overactivity of the parathyroid glands in response to chronic kidney disease) and renal osteodystrophy (a skeletal disorder that arises from mineral and hormonal imbalances associated with chronic kidney disease). Patients allergic to Calyst Z Tablet or its components should not take this medication. Patients with kidney disease should use it with caution, as this medication can increase the risk of kidney stones in patients with kidney disease. It contains calcium carbonate and calcitriol, both of which can increase blood calcium levels and calcium levels in the urine. Therefore, it is not recommended in patients with hypercalcaemia and hypercalciuria. It should be avoided in patients with vitamin D toxicity, sarcoidosis, and digitalis toxicity. Calyst Z Tablet should be used cautiously in older age, as older adults are at increased risk of hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria, and kidney disease. This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, as there is limited information on its safety and efficacy.
