Product Introduction
Carboteen 150mg Injection is an alkylating agent and anti-cancer medicine containing the active ingredient Carboplatin. It is indicated for treatment of certain types of ovarian and lung cancer, either as monotherapy or in combination with other medications.
Monitor for symptoms of allergic reactions, abnormal bruising, kidney problems (haemolytic-uraemic syndrome), and decreased red blood cells (anaemia). Report any lung-related symptoms to your doctor, including shortness of breath, lung tissue inflammation, or lung infection, while taking Carboteen 150mg Injection.
Use effective contraception during treatment and continue for six months following the final dose. Carboteen 150mg Injection may reduce fertility temporarily or permanently in both men and women. Discuss fertility concerns with your doctor prior to treatment.

Carboteen 150mg injection acts as an alkylating agent. This medication reduces the proliferation of cells by inhibiting the formation of DNA, RNA, and proteins, which stops DNA replication and results in programmed cell death.
How to Use
Carboteen 150mg injection is administered as an intravenous infusion into the vein. If this injection is recommended for you, it will be given by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer.
