Product Introduction
Carbozar 450mg injection is an alkylating agent anti-cancer medicine containing carboplatin. It is indicated for treatment of certain ovarian and lung cancers, used as monotherapy or in combination with other medications. Patients should report symptoms of allergic reactions, abnormal bruising, kidney problems including haemolytic-uraemic syndrome, and decreased red blood cells (anaemia) to their doctor. Lung-related symptoms such as shortness of breath, lung tissue inflammation, or lung infection occurring during treatment with Carbozar 450mg injection require medical attention. Effective contraception must be used during treatment and continued for six months following the final dose. Carbozar 450mg injection may reduce fertility temporarily or permanently in both men and women. Patients with concerns regarding fertility should discuss these with their doctor prior to treatment.
