Product Introduction

CB-Lin 0.25mg Tablet contains Cabergoline, a dopamine receptor agonist used to treat conditions associated with elevated prolactin levels (hyperprolactinemia). Prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland, and elevated levels can cause menstrual irregularities, infertility, and inappropriate milk production in women, as well as sexual dysfunction in men. The tablet works by stimulating dopamine receptors in the brain, thereby reducing prolactin production.

Uses

Hyperprolactinemia : CB-Lin 0.25mg Tablet is commonly prescribed to reduce elevated prolactin levels. High prolactin can disrupt reproductive functions, causing irregular periods, infertility, and lactation-related issues in women. In men, it can lead to decreased libido and erectile dysfunction. By lowering prolactin levels, this medication helps normalize hormonal balance and restores reproductive health. Parkinson’s Disease : It is also effective in managing certain symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The dopamine-agonist action of the drug compensates for dopamine deficiency in the brain, improving motor control and reducing symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and slow movement.

How it works

CB-Lin 0.25mg Tablet primarily acts by stimulating dopamine receptors in the pituitary gland. Dopamine plays a critical role in regulating prolactin secretion. By activating these receptors, Cabergoline effectively suppresses the overproduction of prolactin, alleviating the symptoms of hyperprolactinemia. In women, this results in the resumption of normal menstrual cycles, improved fertility, and cessation of inappropriate lactation. For men, it restores testosterone levels, addressing sexual dysfunction caused by elevated prolactin levels.

How to Use

Take CB-Lin 0.25mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably with or after food to minimize stomach discomfort. Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may alter its effectiveness. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and schedule. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.
