Product Introduction

Cilacar T tablet contains telmisartan and cilnidipine, active constituents belonging to the antihypertensive drug class, which assist in controlling high blood pressure. The medication functions by relaxing blood vessels, enabling the heart to pump blood more efficiently throughout the body and lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke. Cilacar T tablet should be taken as advised by your doctor. It may be taken on an empty stomach or with food, but must be taken at a fixed time daily. Consistent use of this medicine is important even when feeling well. Dosage depends on your condition and individual response to the medication. As this medicine lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke, do not discontinue without proper medical guidance. Common side effects of Cilacar T tablet include dizziness, ankle swelling, headaches, drowsiness, tiredness, and stomach upset. Since the medication may cause drowsiness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery as concentration may be affected. Patients with high blood pressure may benefit from lifestyle modifications such as adopting a low-fat and low-salt diet and cessation of smoking, which can enhance the medication's effectiveness. Inform your doctor of any kidney or liver-related conditions. Patients who are breastfeeding or planning pregnancy should notify their doctor before initiating this medication. During treatment with Cilacar T tablet, blood pressure should be monitored regularly, and kidney function tests should be performed periodically to identify any abnormal changes.
