Product Introduction
Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet contains telmisartan, cilnidipine, and chlorthalidone as active constituents. These are antihypertensive drugs used to control high blood pressure and treat hypertension when monotherapy is insufficient. The medication works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing the heart to pump blood more efficiently throughout the body, and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke. Dosage will be determined based on individual condition and response to treatment. The medication lowers blood pressure and reduces cardiac and cerebrovascular risk; discontinuation without medical advice is not recommended. Common side effects include dizziness, ankle swelling, headaches, somnolence, fatigue, and gastrointestinal upset. Because this medication may cause drowsiness, operating vehicles or handling heavy machinery is not advised as concentration may be impaired. Lifestyle modifications including a low-fat, low-sodium diet and smoking cessation may enhance the medication's effectiveness. Do not use Cilacar TC 12.5 mg tablet if allergic to telmisartan, cilnidipine, or other product components. Inform your doctor of kidney disease, diabetes, liver disorders, or concurrent use of other antihypertensive or cardiac medications. Women who are breastfeeding, lactating, or planning pregnancy should seek medical advice before initiating treatment. Regular blood pressure monitoring and periodic kidney function testing should be performed during therapy to detect any abnormal changes.
