Product Introduction
Clexane 80mg Injection is an anticoagulant belonging to the low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) class. It contains Enoxaparin as its active ingredient. The medication is used to treat severe blood clots and prevents deep vein thrombosis in patients undergoing abdominal surgery, hip replacement surgery, or knee replacement surgery, as well as in those with severe mobility restrictions. In patients with unstable angina and non-Q wave myocardial infarction, this injection helps prevent further cardiac complications.
Clexane 80mg Injection is contraindicated in patients with active bleeding, hypersensitivity or allergies to Enoxaparin, and those with a documented history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Inform your physician if you have allergies to Enoxaparin, heparin, benzyl alcohol, or pork products before commencing treatment. Your healthcare provider will conduct regular monitoring for signs of bleeding. Patients with kidney problems should inform their healthcare practitioner accordingly. Use in children and adolescents below 18 years is not recommended.
Clexane 80mg Injection is not recommended if you require procedures involving neuraxial anaesthesia or spinal puncture. Increased vigilance for bleeding risk is necessary in older adults and patients with low body weight. Inform your physician if you suspect pregnancy, are breastfeeding, or are planning conception. Patients with artificial heart valves who are pregnant may face increased bleeding risk with Clexane 80mg Injection and require close monitoring. It is recommended not to take hemostatic drugs concurrently unless absolutely necessary. Inform your physician of all medications you are taking, including herbal preparations and vitamin supplements.
