Product Introduction

Clokeran 2mg tablet contains the active ingredient chlorambucil, an anti-cancer medicine belonging to the class of alkylating agents. It is used to treat Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancers arising from cells of the lymphatic system). It is also indicated for chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (a type of white blood cell cancer in which the bone marrow produces a large number of abnormal cells) and Waldenström's macroglobulinaemia (a rare lymphoma associated with uncontrolled proliferation of B-cells, a type of white blood cell, resulting in release of an abnormal protein into the blood).

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to chlorambucil or any of the ingredients in Clokeran 2mg tablet. Inform your physician about recent vaccination history, liver problems, kidney problems, and seizures. Notify your doctor if you have undergone radiotherapy or chemotherapy previously or recently. Long-term use of this medicine may increase the risk of developing secondary blood cancer. Clokeran 2mg tablet can affect ovaries or sperm, which may result in infertility. Inform your physician if you are planning pregnancy before starting treatment. Avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding during treatment. Use effective contraception to prevent pregnancy.
