Clovista 625mg Tablet

Clovista 625mg Tablet is a combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as middle ear infections, sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTI), skin and soft tissue infections including dental infections, and bone and joint infections. Do not take Clovista 625mg Tablet if you have or have had a history of hypersensitivity (swelling in the face or throat and skin rashes), liver conditions, or jaundice. Do not consume this medicine if you are allergic to Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid, Penicillins, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Notify your doctor if you have any kidney problems because the dose might require adjustment. Inform your doctor if you need to undergo a blood test related to red blood cell status, liver function test, or urine test, as this medicine can affect the results of these tests.

Clovista 625mg Tablet combines two medicines (Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid). Amoxycillin (antibiotic) is a penicillin that helps treat bacterial infection by preventing the formation of the structural component of bacteria, which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that works by reducing the activity of enzymes and preventing the inactivation of Amoxycillin against bacteria.

Clovista 625mg Tablet is an orally administered drug. Take medicine as informed by your physician. It is usually taken with food. Swallow the tablets whole; do not split, chew, or crush them. Do not stop taking Amoxycillin without talking to your doctor. Your doctor will determine frequency and dosage based on your condition and severity.
