Product Introduction

Combither AT 60mg Injection contains artesunate as its active component. It is used primarily to treat malaria, particularly in severe cases caused by Plasmodium falciparum, a parasite that can cause life-threatening complications. It may also be used as part of artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) for treating uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria. The medication can be used for malaria prevention, particularly in areas where the disease is prevalent and drug resistance is not an issue. Some studies have suggested potential use as an adjunct treatment for certain types of cancer. This medication may modulate immune response and reduce inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.

Combither AT 60mg Injection should be avoided in patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to this medication or artemisinin derivatives. It should not be used in patients with known G6PD deficiency. Cautious use under healthcare professional supervision is recommended in patients with certain medical conditions, including liver disease or a history of epilepsy. Healthcare providers should consult before administering this medication to children. Older adults often take multiple medications, increasing the risk of drug interactions. Before using Combither AT 60mg Injection in older patients, always consult a healthcare provider.
