Product Introduction
Combither AT 60mg Injection contains artesunate as its active component. It is used primarily to treat malaria, particularly in severe cases caused by Plasmodium falciparum, a parasite that can cause life-threatening complications. It may also be used as part of artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) for treating uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria. The medication can be used for malaria prevention, particularly in areas where the disease is prevalent and drug resistance is not an issue. Some studies have suggested potential use as an adjunct treatment for certain types of cancer. How it works
Combither AT 60mg Injection is an antimalarial medication, disrupts the malaria parasite's metabolism within red blood cells. It increases the levels of toxic-free heme, which damages the parasite's cellular components. This disruption leads to oxidative stress and cellular damage, ultimately causing the death of the malaria parasite.
