Product Introduction
Conimune ME 100mg Capsule contains the active ingredient cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant medication. It is primarily indicated to prevent organ rejection in patients following organ transplantation, including kidney, liver, or heart transplants. The medication is used alongside other medicines to prevent rejection of the transplanted organ by the body's immune system. After solid organ transplantation, the body mounts an aggressive immune response because it recognises the transplanted organ's antigens as foreign. Immunosuppressive therapy is therefore necessary following organ transplant to prevent organ rejection.
Immunosuppressants increase the risk of skin cancer. Limit exposure to the sun, wear protective clothing, and use sunscreen with high sun protection factor. Inform your doctor if you have recently received vaccination with live vaccines.
Conimune ME 100mg Capsule should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to cyclosporine or its components. This medication can elevate blood pressure levels. It should be used with caution or avoided in individuals with uncontrolled hypertension or a history of high blood pressure. Discussion of potential reproductive effects with a healthcare professional is important, particularly for individuals planning to conceive. Blood glucose monitoring is important, especially for individuals at risk of diabetes.
Uses
Prevention of organ rejection (Kidney, liver, and heart) Treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis and Psoriasis
How it works
By suppressing the immune system, Conimune ME 100mg Cc helps prevent organ rejection in transplant recipients. After organ transplantation, the immune system recognizes the transplanted organ as foreign and launches an immune response to attack and reject it. Conimune ME 100mg Cc inhibits the activation of T-cells, a type of white blood cell involved in immune responses. This suppression of T-cell activity helps to prevent the immune system from attacking and damaging the transplanted organ, thereby increasing the chances of successful organ transplantation.
How to Use
It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Conimune ME 100mg Cc based on the disease condition and other factors such as body weight and age.
