Product Introduction
Crann-D Tablet contains cranberry extract and D-mannose as active components. These natural substances may be considered as an alternative or complement to antibiotic treatment for urinary tract infections (UTIs). Cranberry extract is derived from cranberry fruit and has been studied for its potential benefits in preventing UTIs. It contains compounds called proanthocyanidins, which may help prevent bacteria such as E. coli from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract. This mechanism may reduce the risk of UTIs. D-mannose is a naturally occurring sugar with a structure similar to glucose. Do not use Crann-D Tablet if you have a known allergy to cranberries or related fruits. Cranberry extract contains a moderate amount of oxalates, which can contribute to kidney stone formation in susceptible individuals. If you have a history of kidney stones or are prone to their formation, exercise caution and consult with your doctor before using Crann-D Tablet. The safety and efficacy of these substances in children have not been extensively studied. Consultation with a paediatric doctor is recommended before administering this supplement to children.
Uses
Treat and prevent urinary tract infections.
How it works
The combined therapeutic effect of the Crann-D Tablet aims to support urinary tract health by potentially preventing the adherence of bacteria to the urinary tract walls and aiding in the flushing out of any attached bacteria. Cranberry extract's proanthocyanidins may inhibit bacterial adhesion, while D-mannose can attach to bacteria, particularly E. coli, and facilitate their removal through urine. This dual action may help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections and alleviate associated symptoms.
