Product Introduction
Cresp 40 mcg Injection contains Darbepoetin Alfa as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of medicines known as hematopoietic growth factors, which stimulate the production of red blood cells. This medicine is used to treat anemia (a condition characterized by a low red blood cell count) in patients with chronic kidney disease and in individuals receiving chemotherapy for certain types of cancer. Common symptoms of anemia include tiredness, weakness, and shortness of breath.
Do not use Cresp 40 mcg Injection if you are allergic to Darbepoetin Alfa or any of its ingredients, or if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, anemia due to causes other than kidney disease or chemotherapy, a history of seizures or epilepsy, liver disease, or an allergy to latex or hepatitis C. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe headache, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, vision problems, nausea, vomiting, or seizures after receiving this injection, as these may indicate a serious reaction.
