Cutenox 60mg Injection is an anticoagulant belonging to the low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) category. The active ingredient is Enoxaparin. It is used to treat severe blood clots and prevents deep vein thrombosis in patients undergoing abdominal surgery, hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, and in those with severe movement restrictions. The injection also prevents further cardiac complications in patients with unstable angina and non-Q wave myocardial infarction.

Cutenox 60mg Injection is not recommended for patients with active bleeding, hypersensitivity, or allergies to Enoxaparin, or those with a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Before taking this injection, inform your physician if you are allergic to Enoxaparin, heparin, benzyl alcohol, or pork products. Your healthcare provider will monitor you regularly for signs of bleeding. Inform your healthcare practitioner if you have kidney problems. Use is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years. Cutenox 60mg Injection is not recommended if you undergo procedures such as neuraxial anaesthesia or spinal puncture.

Increased monitoring is recommended for older adults and patients with low body weight due to increased bleeding risk. Inform your physician if you suspect pregnancy, are breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby. Cutenox 60mg Injection may increase the chance of bleeding in pregnant women with artificial heart valves; close monitoring is required in such cases. Avoid taking hemostatic drugs unless absolutely necessary. Cutenox 60mg Injection binds to the antithrombin to form a complex. Antithrombin is a protein that blocks the formation of abnormal blood clots. This drug mainly prevents the activation of factor Xa, eventually preventing clot formation. It is commonly used for the prevention and treatment of conditions associated with increased risk of blood clots.
