How it works
Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody drug used in the treatment of various types of cancer. It works by targeting and inhibiting the action of a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), which plays a key role in the growth and development of blood vessels that feed tumours. By blocking VEGFR2, this medication prevents cancer cell growth and spread.
How to Use
Cyramza 100mg Injection is administered by a healthcare professional through intravenous injection in a hospital or clinic setting. It is not intended for self-administration. The recommended dosage and frequency depends on the type and stage of the cancer being treated, the individual patient's medical history, and overall health status. The drug is usually administered with chemotherapy or as a standalone treatment. If you miss a scheduled dose, contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible to discuss the best course of action. Sometimes, your healthcare provider may recommend that you receive the missed dose as soon as possible and then resume the regular dosing schedule. However, this will depend on several factors, such as how long it has been since your last dose, overall health status, and cancer stage. It is important not to double the dose to make up for a missed dose, as this can increase the risk of side effects.
