Product Introduction

Damir Tablet is a nutrient supplement containing Alpha Ketoanalogue as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of amino acids and is administered alongside a protein-restricted diet to delay progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). It reduces uraemic symptoms caused by accumulation of nitrogenous waste compounds normally eliminated by the kidneys, improves nutritional status, and reduces metabolic complications in patients with CKD. It works by lowering urea levels in the bloodstream and slowing advancement of kidney disease, thereby delaying the need for long-term dialysis.

Do not take Damir Tablet if you are allergic to Alpha Ketoanalogue or any of its ingredients. Avoid this medicine if you have hypercalcaemia (elevated blood calcium level) or abnormal heartbeats, as administration may cause increased calcium levels in the blood and irregular heartbeats. During treatment, your doctor may recommend periodic monitoring of serum calcium levels. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Damir Tablet alternatives include Domstal, Vomistop, Motilium, and other brands containing domperidone 10 mg. Damir Tablet pricing in India varies by retailer and location. Damir Tablet is available for online purchase.
