Product Introduction
Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet is a urinary antispasmodic agent belonging to the muscarinic receptor antagonist class, containing darifenacin as its active ingredient. It is used to manage symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB), a condition characterised by sudden, frequent, and uncontrollable urge to urinate, often accompanied by urinary frequency (passing urine more often than normal) and urinary urgency (strong and immediate need to urinate). Patients with OAB may experience these symptoms even when the bladder is not full, resulting in a sense of urgency that can be difficult to manage. This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to darifenacin or any component of the formulation. Patients with certain medical conditions, including ulcerative colitis, myasthenia gravis, narrow-angle glaucoma, severe hepatic disease, or urinary retention, should not use Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet. It is important to inform your doctor of your complete medical history to establish whether this medication is appropriate for you. Additionally, this drug is not recommended during pregnancy and should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Grapefruit juice may interact with this medication and alter its absorption. Grapefruit juice should be avoided while taking this medication.
Uses

How it works
Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that affects muscle contractions. By targeting the muscles in the bladder, it helps to relax them, reducing the frequent and urgent need to urinate.
